All over the planet, Nature is calling for our attention. That’s what The World Wide Wander is about, it’s a free global festival of walking, online and in-person, to help people reconnect with what’s natural, both around us and within ourselves.
The World Wide Wander is the annual festival of Street Wisdom, a global non-profit movement that brings communities together and helps people find their way through life’s twists and turns through unique guided walking workshops - Walkshops. The festival includes uplifting partner takeover sessions and inspiration from special guests. This year the festival’s theme is Nature - what’s around us as well as what’s within us.
We’re all wondering how to do things differently and how to manage our physical & mental health in our AI focused world. What if the inspiration we need is all around us, all the time? That's why non- profit Street Wisdom created an annual celebration of their work - The World Wide Wander together with the support of our partners including the global creative community Creative Mornings, Sofa Singers and Action for Happiness.
Special guests include - Nora Bateson, Satish Kumar, Tina Roth Eisenberg, Dr Christian Busch, James Sills, Sir Tim Smit and many more!
We're not going to resolve our questions just sitting and thinking. Let’s get up, get out and get answers.
WHEN? Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June 2025, in-person or online.

WHAT IS A WALKSHOP? A Walkshop is a guided walking workshop that helps you find your way through life’s twist and turns, led by a Street Wisdom facilitator who coaches you through the mindfulness inspired inspiration-sparking practice. You can use your phone out on the street or inside your home if outside isn’t feasible. It’s a simple but profound practise that can really help you see things differently. And it’s free of charge!
A Walkshop has three parts:
TUNE-UP. A series of short exercises that are designed to “tune-up” your senses so you can tune in to the world around you.
QUEST. Here you choose a question you would like some fresh thinking on and then set off in search of insights, ideas and answers, looking for signs and signals from the streets or space you explore.
SHARE. Everyone gathers back together again and shares insights or listens to others. This is an important part of the process – as one person’s story can resonate with others, providing a sense of togetherness and broadening perspective.
SIGN UP for Online events and In-Person events.
